Our Annual Holiday Trip to NYC

This past weekend, we went to New York City for what is turning into a little holiday tradition in the Jenners household as we once again visited New York City at holiday time. This year, we decided not to fight the crowds to see the tree at Rockefeller Center or glimpse the windows at Macys. Instead, we tried to stay off the beaten path (like that is possible in NYC) and visit things we thought might not be as crowded. Here are some of our photos. And guess what? We had a celebrity sighting (if you define “celebrity” very very very loosely. We’re talking the Z list here.)
We could see the Empire State Building!
Same view at night.
Stuff like this is what makes me love the city.
This was our first half dozen.
I’m not telling how many more were purchased after this.
They are the best cupcakes in NYC.
But don’t just take my word for it.
Me and the Little One heading to the
Times Square Toys R Us.
I swear to you, it is better than FAO Schwarz.
We think that ball is the ball that drops on New Years Eve.
Looks pretty darn unimpressive.
Can you guess where we went next?
Confidential to Stacy the Random Cool Chick:
Princess Nagger needs to go here.
There is an ENTIRE floor of dinosaur bones!
This is where we went
(if the T-Rex head didn’t give it away).
Totally amazing place.
The Little One’s reaction to this cross-section of
a tree that began growing in 550 A.D.?
“Yeah…I see it. A stump. Whatever.”
Mr. Jenners and I in front of an
Origami Christmas Tree.
This was seriously amazing.
I could have stayed here all day.
If you’ve ever attempted origami, you’ll appreciate how awesome this is.

Check out the spider in the background!

I just couldn’t believe all that they made!
My Weight On Jupiter
(or perhaps on Earth after all the Crumbs cupcakes!)
(And no way am I giving you the conversion code.)
(And don’t look it up either.)
The Naked Cowboy.
Our Z List celebrity sighting.
Ever heard of him?
Yeah…me neither. Mr. Jenners had though.
Yours Truly posing with the Naked Cowboy’s behind.
What I won’t do for my blog!
We left a day early because of the big blizzard
that caused havoc all up the East Coast.
Came home to about 2 feet of snow.
I guess it will be a White Christmas after all.

I didn't see this post! Thanks for sending me the link! I don't know how the Naked Cowboy stands out in the cold like that!
