Challenge Description: The writing gene often runs in the family. For this challenge, you need to find two authors from the same family (either by blood or by marriage) and read a book by each of the authors and then write about both books. Because of the research involved and having to read two books, this challenge is worth two entries.
Examples: The Bronte sisters; Stephen King and his wife Tabitha OR his son Joe Hill; Jonathan Kellerman (husband) and Faye Kellerman (wife); Michael Chabon (husband) and Ayelet Waldman (wife); Joan Didion (wife) and John Gregory Dunne (husband); Mary Higgins Clark (mother) and Carol Higgins Clark (daughter)

I love when review books and random library finds present me the solution to a challenge!
I wasn’t sure what I was going to read for this one, so when Ayelet Waldman’s new book came to my door, I was happy I found it!
The Reading Gods are looking out for you!
Jenners, I'm trying to figure out what books to read for this all in the family challenge. Wilkie Collins and Charles Dickens are related by marriage. Collins' brother married Dickens' daughter. Does that count or is that too much of a stretch? Thanks!
that was pretty challenging–It took me a month to read the poems of Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell. I followed up with Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte. She was the only one of the sisters I had not read.
Like Jenners, I'm doing Waldman / Chabon books for this challenge. Haven't read the Chabon book yet, but I'll be sure to link later!
Beside Anne Bronte's Agnes Grey I also posted on Jane Eyre
I have now completed four of the challenges-I originally committed to 3 challenges to be completed-I will pretty much, it looks, be sticky with the commitment I made when I began to participate in the challenge so I have now completed the Take a Change Challenge-it was a very creative challenge and it is very well managed-I will be checking back to see what other books are being reviewed.
