Challenge Description: We all have reading prejudices–authors we don’t like, genres we don’t like, or even publishers we don’t like. For this challenge, think of a reading prejudice you have and then find a book that is an example of this type of book. Read the book and then write about the reading prejudice you had BEFORE you read the book and how reading the book either changed your prejudice or reinforced it
Examples: I always say I can’t stand James Patterson; therefore, I might read a James Patterson book for this challenge. Or, if you sneer at “chick lit” books, you might read a “chick lit” book. Or, if you think books published by Harlequin are pure drivel, you might read a book published by Harlequin. If you turn up your nose at the Twilight books, then you might read one of the Twilight books.

Can't say my prejudice was actually broken. I still don't think you should read books by idiots.
I'm not sure I broke my prejudice but I certainly chiseled away at it a bit.
I accidentally posted this in the wrong spot-i reposted this in the correct one-read a genre you've never read before.
I participated in the Woolf in Winter Reading Group. I had never heard of Virginia Woolf and after reading and not liking Mrs. Dalloway I decided not to continue. But went ahead with "To the Lighthouse" just so I could link it up here. I really did give it a fair shake!
Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
Sorry, my Mr. Linky post was supposed to go on the Genre Switch Up Mr. Linky. Can you remove it or just note that it's for the wrong one? I've corrected this and posted the link below.
