I LOVE this meme – it's the first time I remember ever seeing it, and I hope I can participate in it tomorrow. What a fun way to change things up a bit. Totally with you on PB kids – they're stuff is phenomenal, but looking at it makes me depressed because there's no way in hell I could ever actually BUY any of it. SO sorry Little One was sick like that. I remember just one crazy projectile vomit that Kaylee – looked like a dang fountain with no end. And the look on her face at us was like, "What the hell is happening to me?!?" Nasty, nasty. Vomit is not so much my strong point. I'm one of those – you vomit, you make me want to vomit types. Hope Little One is doing better.

      Eewwwww vomit! ;-)

I swear I just had the same internal conversation with a guy at Best Buy when my graphics card exploded a couple of weeks ago. "Congratulations. You can read. Please, PLEASE tell me someone taught you what these words actually MEAN before they stuck you in the computer aisle. No? Okay. Well, you have really nice hair. Now go away."

I do love your Post-it notes!

Poor little one – hope he feels better soon. And believe me – backing away is just good common sense!

I just read the lyrics of "Come On Eileen." I didn't realize the song was so dirty- it's telling her to take off her dress! How did I miss that? (Of course, when I first heard the song I was still young and naive)

My daughter used to have a friend named Aileen and we sung that song ALL the time. Drove her crazy!
I hope the snow goes away!

you have to protect yourself from the vomit volcano so you will be better able to assist once the eruption has mellowed. you cannot help if you are covered in barf.

      Awesome.

My son "shared" a cold with all of us as well. Not cool.

And really the whole snow thing was very last year.

Your "nitwit" note is still cracking me up as I type. Now I have Come On Eileen in my head too.

Stomach viruses invading the house are the worst.

      Hilarious!

Although, I can't believe you forgot about Dexy's Midnight Runners…we had 80s Trivia Night on the cruise we went on last October, and I think I was the only one on the boat who knew who sang Come On Eileen! :)

The Boy used to throw up all the time – and he'd never hit the intended target. I was always on clean up duty.

Then I told him that HE'D have to clean it up – he hasn't thrown up once since then.

Of course, if he's actually sick, he is now trying to make it to the toilet.

      HAHAHAHAHA!!! You crack me up.

I have a Post-It today on making the snow go away as well. I can't even get out of my driveway because it is a 6-inch thick block of ice!

Sorry about the stomach bug. I had it Sunday night and Monday morning. But sooo hilarious about you backing away in horror.

I remember the first time my oldest threw up. It was like on a movie. I was stunned. Don't feel bad, Jenners. Diving in wouldn't help anyhow.

LOL..the good instincts/bad mothering one is hilarious. My Dad totally did that to us as kids and to this day my sister and I laugh about it and try to imitate it. Perhaps your Little One will too.

I have the same problem with Gymoboree as you do with Pottery Barn. *sigh*

I couldn't agree with these more! So tired of stomach bugs (although they are bypassing our kids for now), Pottery Barn is so overpriced, and I've never longed for spring more in my life!

      Dear Consumer:

Pottery Barn Kids items are priced that way so that everyone who sees you have items from there will know you could afford to pay for them and therefore you are probably also ahead of them in line for Private Magnet K-8 School for Future Concert Pianists.

haha. i can relate to all of these. every time i leave best buy, i vow to never return, but i always find myself back in their stupid blue and yellow store.

there is an unspoken rule in our house that hubs handles blood and snot and poop and i handle puke. my boys were impressive pukers. they were particularly fond of puking in their beds. luckily, they don't really vomit anymore.

      hope everyone has recovered.

and yes, PB kids is a good idea. in theory. and for the trust fund babies.
