Check out more Post-It Note Tuesday posts over at SupahMommys.
It is the funnest and most colorful meme in the blogosphere!

Lately, I’ve been exercising. (Gasp!) The only way I can make the time go by without being miserable is to watch movies (in 20-minute increments). For the past few weeks, I’ve been watching the Sex and the City movie. As I was watching, it occurred to me that I am just like Carrie Bradshaw. Here are some of the notes I wrote while watching the movie.

Just sitting around wearing 5-inch heels and sipping a Cosmo,

IT's true! Why didn't we see it before?!
And what a selfless person to spend $400 on LEGOS instead of shoes…sigh…

      I prefer Mojitos.

      I think I'm more of a Stanford-type. :)

{PS} I haven't purchased any silly bandz (yet), yet they have still managed to find there way into our household! Ha! (Must be getting them from you boy! :o P)

You are so right about the Legos! Crazy how much they cost.

And hey, at least you know the name of the designer of your clothes.. I would have no idea… might have to go look at some tags :)

Thank goodness Carrie doesn't really exist. I know I'd be beyond broke.

      Have a great Tuesday!

      HA about Isaac Mizrahi!
I have a pair of his shoes… from Target… by way of Goodwill (for $5!).
The only way I am like Carrie is in my lust for shoes. But I think getting them for a steal is better than having to steal to have the money to pay for them. My latest fun shoes are zebra print pumps from Dana Buchman at Kohl's (seriously funky shoes) and leopard print ones too (also Dana, also Kohl's, and also $5 on the clearance rack! Score!) These get me noticed all the time.
I am on the quest for the best racy red pumps ever. Still haven't found them. But Zappos is my go-to. They will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine.
      Enjoy the day!

Well, am only reading you for the first time, but I'll take you over Carrie any day. I might prefer Carrie's *closet* (not that the clothes in it would fit a single part of my body–seriously, I'd be lucky to get an earlobe into some of her dresses!), but come on! Ya gotta love a closet big enough to double as a potential guest room.

You know, I read the book *Sex and the City* years ago and hated it. Sorry, Candace Bushnell, if you're reading this. Any thoughts?

By the way, I'm following you now! :D

Carrie is just like you! She knows a good thing when she sees it. Such a copycat! As always, your post cracked me up.

I can see the similarities :) Those Legos are expensive. I probably could put an extension on my house (LOL) from all the legos that we've bought over the years. On second thought, should I build the extension with Legos?? That's a way to keep the kids busy. :)

Personally, I think you look WAY better than Carrie Bradshaw. And you don't have commercials.

One of my fave SITC quotes.. I'm gonna be a bag lady, a Fendi bag lady, but a bag lady.. Love it!

And I hear ya about the Legos. They're little pieces of plastic? Why are they $25 a set for the cheap ones? I'm glad the hubs kept all of his for our kids. Sentimental AND cheap!

Damn straight about the Legos! I'm pretty sure that if we could cash ours in we could have the boys' college paid for in advance, lol.

And you ARE just like Carrie! I never could figure out which one I was most like.
