Casting A TV Movie of My Life

Another new week and I still have no post ideas. Why is my muse missing in action? Is she on vacation? So I’m forced to answer another question from a reader. This time, the question comes from Grace’s Mom who asked:
If someone was to make a made-for-tv movie about your life, who would play you, Mr. Jenners and The Little One?
Oh … this is fun! I love casting fake movies. It always shows you how deluded you are about your own appearance! Now, you can see my photo and Mr. Jenners in the masthead but, due to security restrictions imposed by Mr. Jenners, you cannot see the Little One’s face. (This is one of my great regrets because what mother doesn’t want to show off her adorable offspring?)
So I’m going to try this two ways. One is where I pick the actors and actresses based on who I’ve been told we resemble in “real life” and then I’ll use this website that supposedly tells you what celebrity you resemble. (I did this once before with bad results so I’m curious to see if things have changed.)
Now, I’ve been told I resemble two famous people at different times: Bette Midler and Linda Hunt. And Mr. Jenners swears I look like Laura Innes from ER. I disagree with all of them!!

But let’s see what the “experts” at MyHeritage.com think. They have this fun little program where you can upload a photo of yourself and then see who your celebrity matches are. Last time, I was told my celebrity match included Janeane Garafolo and Madonna. (OK… and Jack Osbourne.) So how about this time?

OK- I tried it. I had Ashley Judd and . . . (wait for it . . .) Hillary Clinton. All I have to say is in what parallel universe does Hillary Clinton resemble Ashley Judd? WTF???!!! Thanks for the laughs.

I guess I can't complain. I got Annette Bening as my top match. I think she's gorgeous and that their system is obviously nuts since I don't look like her, but I'll go with it. I also got Nancy Kerrigan – must be my big toothed grin.

I totally forgot about Laura Innes, ah ER, so long ago.
So I don't really have any pics of me because its my camera and no one thinks to turn it on me so, none. Well… actually I think there is one from december maybe. Sorry, I'm rambling.
And I think Gary Oldman is hot. Have you seen The Professional? Gary Oldman, Jean Reno (one of my faves) and Natalie Portman when she was 12 – you can totally see that she's going to be Beautiful in a big way.
Yeah, rambling again. The Professional is one of my top 10 movies of all time.

I just did the stupid thing and it told me I also looked like James Spader and Gary Oldman. It's the glasses! It thinks we all look alike.
LOL…Myheritage is just plain rude! I don't think you look like any of those guys. However, if I were you I would continue to tell random people that your husband looks like Mel Gibson (without the crazy of course) and that it's been scientifically proven.
