It is almost time for Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW)! This year, BBAW is scheduled for September 12 – 16. Besides an awards program that honors excellence in book blogging (click here for info on this year’s awards process), the week is packed with events such as blogger interviews, memes, guest posts and giveaways. The week of BBAW is jam-packed! I always stay up late discovering new-to-me blogs … fun!
That is the good and bad thing about BBAW — discovering new book blogs. I already have so many to read!
Is there voting involved in BBAW? Maybe I should head over to the website and find out…….
I think they have a judging panel instead of voting. It is pretty complicated actually!
I am looking forward to this event. There are so many blogs that are so deserving of an award and appreciation. THanks for reminding me of this event.

i’m such a spaz. i totally missed nominations and only *just* managed to register (at the 11th hour). how about this? i’ll vote for you in all the categories you are nominated for. i wish they had a ‘best audio book interview’ because scott brick and i would win that hands down. lol.
I think I may have missed making my nominations too because it was taking me so long to figure out what I was going to do in each area.
I always find the nomination process weird. I think I take it way too seriously. I get offended if the blogs I nominate don’t make the shortlist!
They changed it again this year … I think it is back to being nominated by others versus nominating yourself, which seemed weird to me.
I love BBAW – it is so fun to see the nominations and the blogs that win awards…. all the more to follow
