I’ve been a Perrotta fan since reading The Abstinence Teacher, so I’m looking forward to reading (or hearing) this new one.

I was so excited when I heard he had a new book. Good luck … I hope you win!

After just reading your review of The Leftovers, I’d definitely like to win my own copy. I’ve only read Little Children, but based on that one, I would definitely give Tom Perrotta another try. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

He is well worth trying again. He is up there as one of my favorites.

I heard an NPR review of this book and was instantly intrigued – and inspired to enter the giveaway!

      Good luck to all!

Thanks for hosting this giveaway. I really liked “Little Children” (the movie too) but couldn’t get anywhere with “The Abstinence Teacher.”

I so want to watch the movie version of Little Children. I’ll have to rent it soon.

Great giveaway! I finally got a print copy of this from the library, but I’m sure once I’m done I’m going to want my own copy!

      Hi Jen,
It’s only recently that I’ve heard about this book and you review sounds intriguing. I’ve entered for the audio version – I have to admit I haven’t “listened” to a book since I was a child.

      • 09/03/2011 at 8:12 pm

I just recently got into listening to audio books. They are fantastic companions when exercising or on long car trips or doing boring household chores. I can’t believe it took me so long to try them out.

        • 09/06/2011 at 11:20 am

Oh I’m afraid I need something with a beat to it when I exercise, otherwise I get really bored and my motivation goes out the window. Music is a a great companion to working out, but an audio book would be great to listen to on my daily commute.

I entered… for the printed version of course!!

I finally got my reading mojo back, but not yet the reviewing part.

Thanks for yet another giveaway!! I’m feeling lucky!

I keep hearing such great things about this book! It sounds a bit bizarre, but that’s what I like. I check both audio and hard copy, as it genuinely makes no difference to me — I love both formats. Thanks so much for hosting the giveaway.

It is a bit bizarre but also totally grounded in our world now too. It was a great mix. And as I explore more audiobooks, I’m becoming very flexible about what format I prefer as well. Good luck!

As if I wouldn’t enter after you virtually guaranteed everyone we would love it! :–)

Life..With Books wishes to issue a disclaimer that it is not responsible for anyone’s liking and/or loving The Leftovers. No guarantees were given or implied. However, the author of the review really really liked the book … but she is a liberal, already a Perrotta fan and predisposed to love the book anyway.
