Romeo the Puppy continues to entertain and delight us. Recently, he discovered that he can fly!

Note: No small puppies were harmed in the making of this post. The puppy jumped off and on the couch onto a soft cushion of his own will. He was happy doing it. And his family was happy to see him do it.

Tell me that isn't a big old smile on his face! And looking right at the camera too!

Notice the red cape we had attached to him flying off from his great speed.

How did I miss that you guys got a pup?!?! He is so cute! So happy to hear of it. Yay.

      • 10/06/2011 at 8:19 pm

I guess that post slipped by you! I’ve been having Feedburner and e-mail subscription troubles with this blog lately. And he is SO MUCH FUN and is being photographed all the time!

    2. 10/04/2011 at 9:42 pm

OMG Romeo is toooo cute!!! Adorable :)

    3. 10/03/2011 at 10:30 pm

OMG!!! That first picture is priceless. He looks so adorable. You know Sammy will not jump up on the furniture no matter how much time I spend trying to get him to do it. It’s frustrating since it’s me that has to lift his 25 lb butt up on the couch.

      • 10/04/2011 at 2:08 pm

I just can’t believe he is 25 lbs! He is heavy for the breed, that is for sure. And just think … most dog owners spend most of the time trying to keep their dogs off of furniture, and we’re trying to get them to go on it!!

    4. 10/03/2011 at 9:12 am

dressing the poor dog up already! oh, the shame of it, using him for a photo op. (tongue firmly in cheek)

      • 10/03/2011 at 9:33 am

Hey, I learned from you … the Master of Cute Dog Exploitation! HAHA!

    5. 10/02/2011 at 10:36 pm

Romeo is SO CUTE! Thanks for sharing photos with us!

      • 10/03/2011 at 9:33 am

It is my pleasure!! It makes for a fun and easy post.

    6. 10/02/2011 at 9:03 pm

Seriously adorable. I can’t wait to discover more adventures of Romeo!!

      • 10/03/2011 at 9:33 am

I suspect we shall have lots more Romeo Adventures. Right now, there is a war raging over his Halloween costume. I might have to take it to the blog for a vote!

    7. 10/02/2011 at 8:04 pm

      OMG!!!! Cutest dog ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • 10/03/2011 at 9:32 am

Yeah … based on Studley’s current condition, I think Romeo beats him cuteness. But Studley gets the award for Most Dignified and Serious Looking (well, when he isn’t wearing his goofy collar thing.) Hope Mr. S is healing well!

Love the cape! Please do make a video.

    9. 10/01/2011 at 11:25 am

He’s so cute! Love his eyes in the first pic. :)
And he’s part of the site logo, like a true member of the family. I just want to give him a good belly rub.

      • 10/03/2011 at 9:31 am

You noticed!! I just added him in, and Mr. Jenners complained that his photo was bigger than his. HAHA! I shall pass on your belly rub to Romeo.

    10. 09/30/2011 at 10:41 pm

How cute!! My pup Murphy likes to jump off the couch onto my other dog Scout to even up the height advantage Scout has. I should try and get a picture of that.
      Enjoy your puppy!

      • 10/03/2011 at 9:30 am

Oh yes … that sounds like a great photo op!! Scout must be a pretty good job to tolerate Murphy like that!

    11. 09/30/2011 at 3:50 pm

Oh, he looks like he’s having so much fun! What a cutie!

      • 10/03/2011 at 9:30 am

He is a total kick. He’s really amused us 100x more than I expected.

    12. 09/30/2011 at 11:37 am

That is awesome! Love it. That first shot is great. Seriously the cutest puppy

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:13 pm

He just cracks us up every single day. We are just loving him!

    13. 09/30/2011 at 11:14 am

Romeo looks like a doll. What a cutie patootie!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:13 pm

He is a doll baby. Sometimes I carry him like a little baby. He’s so fun and cute.

    14. 09/30/2011 at 10:22 am

That is a great photo of Romeo flying! I bet he is a lot of fun to have around the house. He looks like an adorable little guy!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:24 pm

He is so fun … unless you really need to get going or do something. He is on my heels CONSTANTLY!

    15. 09/30/2011 at 9:58 am

LOL! What an amazing photo! The spooky thing is that happy expression really reminds me of the photos of you that you post on this blog. She is a perfect match for you :-)

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:24 pm

Well, they do say you start to look like your dog (or vice versa). I guess that is already happening!

    16. 09/30/2011 at 7:43 am

Romeo is the cutest superdog around! Love the photos bringing us right into all that doggie excitement! very cute

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:23 pm

I’ll have to try for a video at some point.

    17. 09/30/2011 at 6:27 am

OMG. That first picture? You need to submit it to every newspaper in the country and you would win awards. It is PRECIOUS.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:23 pm

My mom got her dog in the national newspaper syndicate so we have a high standard to live up to!

    18. 09/30/2011 at 3:08 am

LOL -wonderful shot with the cape. He is so darn cute!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:23 pm

I so wish the cape would have stayed on … but he was moving too fast!

    19. 09/29/2011 at 11:46 pm

Aww, this is just too cute! Well, that one first photo with that one green eye is a bit creepy looking but at least he looks happy! Glad to see you guys finding amusement with Romeo’s constant urge to leap of things :)

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:22 pm

Oh it is very amusing. He gets the “crazies” and just tears around the house and makes the daring leaps. Quite funny.

    20. 09/29/2011 at 11:30 pm

Romeo, o Romeo. There art my flying Romeo. That first shot is absolutely perfect. How many shots did it take? :)

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:22 pm

I’m going to have to reread that play to learn some new lines with his name.

    21. 09/29/2011 at 10:45 pm

So I saw the first picture and thought “he needs a cape.” And then I saw the second photo and voila, cape. Obviously, great minds think alike.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:21 pm

Yup!! And what are the chances that we would have a tiny red cape around the house? Pretty darn good actually!

    22. 09/29/2011 at 10:00 pm

Love your puppy, and love that you are still enjoying him.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:21 pm

He is a true delight. And he’s made himself quite at home.

    23. 09/29/2011 at 7:09 pm

Oh. How. CUTE!!!!!! I love Romeo. It’s photos like these that make me want a dog again.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:21 pm

I will not be held responsible if you do, indeed, get a dog again. HAHA!

    24. 09/29/2011 at 6:38 pm

Love that top pic especially: Romeo is a cutie! Congrats on the latest addition to your family and please share lots of pics with us!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:20 pm

Since I can’t show photos of my son, you’re going to get lots of Romeo!

    25. 09/29/2011 at 6:25 pm

what a super dog :D –and I’m thinking with that smile he fits right into the Jenners family.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:20 pm

He does fit in. My husband actually said “He is the perfect dog for us.”

    26. 09/29/2011 at 5:30 pm

He is so incredibly CUTE!!! Our dogs are old – 15 and 12 and right now as I blog read, they are both curled up sleeping next to me… actually… that’s pretty much all they do these days… they are like pet furniture. :)

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:20 pm

There are moments when Romeo is driving me nuts that I wish he was more like pet furniture but then how could I get silly photos like this?

    27. 09/29/2011 at 5:02 pm

Romeo is adorable!! I love that face when he is jumping, er um flying off the couch!!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:19 pm

Be careful … he is FLYING … not jumping. FLYING! (He believes he can fly.)

    28. 09/29/2011 at 4:55 pm

      Cute, cute, cute photos.

    29. 09/29/2011 at 4:47 pm

What a cutie! He seems like he is fitting right in with your family.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:19 pm

It feels like he’s been here for ages. He’s adjusted quite well.

    30. 09/29/2011 at 4:43 pm

I had a super crap day then opened this. This made my day! So cute!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:18 pm

I”m glad Romeo could brighten your super crap day. I hope it got WAY better.

    31. 09/29/2011 at 4:38 pm

That is just TOO CUTE!!! I’m so glad you got a dog. :)

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:18 pm

I am so glad too. I realized now that he was just what we needed to add a little fun and life to the house.

      09/29/2011 at 4:20 pm

And his name is Romeo?? Seems like it should be SuperPup or something like that.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:18 pm

I know!! My husband and son have taken to calling him RomeBone. Which I don’t like AT ALL.

    33. 09/29/2011 at 3:52 pm

That first picture is especially cute and funny! What a playful dog!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:17 pm

He really is. He’s got so much puppy fun in him.

    34. 09/29/2011 at 3:48 pm

I love your pup. He is a goofball.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:17 pm

He is totally goofy. He was “playing” BeyBlades with my son the other day and it was hilarious.

      09/29/2011 at 3:26 pm

Very cute and impressive! My dog used to love “flying” as a puppy, too, but he’s now topped out at a massive 110 lbs. — and doesn’t fly anywhere except to his food dish! :)

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:33 pm

Wow … 110 lbs! That is my goal weight! HAHA! I’m sure my puppy won’t be flying forever … but it is a joy to see him do it now. : )

    36. 09/29/2011 at 3:24 pm

Romeo is very cute. Love those green eyes, but I have a feeling those are camera-colored!

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:16 pm

I was trying to touch up his green eyes with the “red eye” function and it didn’t work!! He’s an alien from the Planet Cute. (OK. Shoot me now.)

    37. 09/29/2011 at 2:59 pm

      aw!

    38. 09/29/2011 at 2:53 pm

I just know this poor dog is gonna be dressed for Halloween, isn’t he? lol

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:16 pm

But of course!! (A ladybug if you must know.)

    39. 09/29/2011 at 2:33 pm

Oh my gosh, Romeo is adorable! Our dog is only 16 and the only time she gets excited like that these days is when food is involved.

      • 09/30/2011 at 2:15 pm

I’m sure there will come a day when Romeo isn’t so playful but, for now, it is a delight.
