Some Winners Blow In … And Romeo Pics!

My birthday giveaway is over … and I’ve got three winners to announce. To liven up the post, I thought I’d share some photos of Romeo’s recent outing to a dog beach near our house and have him announce the winners. It was really really really windy … resulting in some rather amusing shots of our little Romeo. Enjoy!

Oh my goodness, these pics are so cute! (Sorry, I realize I’m commenting way late, but I figured better late than never!)
Poor Romeo, he needs something to keep his hair out of his eyes. But I bet he’s too cool for a hairband!
Mr. Jenners would NEVER allow that. I mean, he won’t even let him be a ladybug for Halloween! When he visits the groomer, I’m going to see what they can do about the hair in his eyes. It drives me nuts.
Awww…too cute! I really should take my dog to the beach soon. (Except he prefers running in the dunes and digging holes, then ends up crying sand for the next 12 hrs!)
The sand thing is a major issue. Our car was covered with it as Romeo is a “low rider” and picked up quite a bit of it. Yet it is worth it to see the joy of the dogs doing their thing!
He does look like a mini-sheepdog. Just too cute. Cleaver way of announcing winners. I think he’s ready for a life jacket – we have one for our Bolognese and she’s pretty funny to watch in the water.
Next year when it is warmer and not so cold I’m hoping we’ll get him in the water!!!

You’d be surprised how small his actual body is. He is at least 2x larger with his fur!

Romeo looks like he’d have blown clean away without you holding onto his leash…did he like the alternate hairstyles he had that day?
His hair got very tangled and matted. And at one point, I do think the wind actually blew his little body!

Congratulations to the winners! It looks like you were at the beach during a hurricane! Romeo is a doll. When we lived in Charlotte we had neighbors by the names of Romeo and Edith. For some reason that combination of names always cracks me up.

I think he did enjoy his beach outing … but it was hard to tell. He’s just happy to be with us.
Romeo still hasn’t warmed up to the word “walk” yet. He runs away whenever I say it or get his harness.

OMG, too cute! Although I’m not so sure that Romeo is really enjoying the trip to the beach as much as you did taking the pictures. They really are adorable. I always get a kick out of Sam in the wind. He’s always checking behind him to try and figure out why all that air is hitting his butt. It’s pretty funny.
I’m not really sure Romeo had fun or not. It was had to tell. He’s just so happy to be with us anywhere.
