OK … not really. But Romeo got his first real “haircut” yesterday and he looks like a totally different dog. As Mr. Jenners said: “We didn’t think you could get any cuter but you did!” To get a feel for how raggedy he was looking, here is a shot of him in the small amount of snow we had a few weeks ago.

What is this mysterious white stuff? I love to eat it. Oh look ... I can dye it yellow!

Now here is a photo of him taken today … looking like a totally different dog.

Well hello there. How are you doing?

He looks great. Do you cute it yourself or take him to the groomers.

Our little fluffy ball won’t allow us to take her to the groomers so I end up scissor cutting her hair about every 3-4 months. Poor dear, it’s still a but cold but I only know one way of cutting – short. So not so nice as Romeo’s but at least she can see out from behind her long hair.

How does he feel? I find they generally feel great after a hair cut – not too dissimilar from humans.

he looks so snazzy with his new haircut! hope he’s proving to be the pet of your dreams. :)

oh my isn’t he a cute cuddly fur ball. Looks totally differnt after the grooming.

I totally agree with Mr. Jenners here :) Romeo was so cute before haircut but somehow getting a haircut made him so cute too! Oh, it’s so hard to decide which Romeo is the cuter one since they both look too adorable :)

What a cute dog. When ours gets a haircut we always take before and after photos. He just gets cuter by the day LOL.

    6. 02/03/2012 at 6:57 pm

oh my gosh! Romeo looks great. He looks like a plush toy! :)

      Bow wow! He looks awesome.

    8. 02/03/2012 at 2:49 pm

In that second one, he looks like he’s robotic! I wanna push a button and see his little legs start to mechanically move forward. :)

      Cute little guy he is!

    9. 02/03/2012 at 2:41 pm

Wow, you’re right! He does look like too different dogs in the before and after shots! :) So cute!

    10. 02/03/2012 at 1:55 pm

      He looks gorgeous!

    11. 02/03/2012 at 7:26 am

He is adorable! xx Now I wish I could get a cute puppy as well :/

    12. 02/03/2012 at 1:21 am

      oh, he’s adorable.

    13. 02/02/2012 at 11:28 pm

Is that two dogs? If not I cry false advertising. Romeo looks so grown up with his haircut.

    14. 02/02/2012 at 8:40 pm

      Very handsome!

    15. 02/02/2012 at 7:34 pm

He’s rocking that cut and he knows it!

    17. 02/02/2012 at 10:01 am

When I saw the title of the post I thought, wow, maybe she got a pair for Romeo. :)
He’s adorable in both photos. It doesn’t get cuter (is that even a word?) than that.

Maybe I should try this with Panda. It’s certainly been warm enough this winter in Montana. Then again, why mess with perfection? My little bear dog has the cutest smile.

    21. 02/01/2012 at 8:48 pm

Romeo is adorable no matter how you look at him.

    22. 02/01/2012 at 5:48 pm

Awwwww, he looks so adorable. I had Sam cut a bit shorter for his first cut but I agree, they look totally different after a cut. I love them fuzzy but I do like the face trimmed. I like seeing their expressions which you really can’t when their hair is in their eyes. How did he fare at the groomers? Sam is pretty good now although they said he barks the whole time in the kennel. Lol.

    23. 02/01/2012 at 4:51 pm

Aw, such a cute pooch. When we take our standard poodle to get groomed our chihuahua often gets pissed because she doesn’t recognize her fur sister when she comes home sporting a new do.

    24. 02/01/2012 at 4:46 pm

Romeo was so cute before and even cuter now! Make a calendar of him and sell it! :)

    25. 02/01/2012 at 4:05 pm

He’s gone from just being cute to being cute AND handsome!! Romeo lives up to his name – he’s a heartbreaker. :)

    26. 02/01/2012 at 3:39 pm

He does look totally different! In some ways I like the hair in the eye look though but yea just totally cute.

    27. 02/01/2012 at 1:44 pm

He looks really handsome after the haircut! Like the dog version of Adonis :)

    28. 02/01/2012 at 1:14 pm

OHMYGOODNESS! I want him…..or one just like him!!!!

    29. 02/01/2012 at 11:53 am

Love it, and I love your commentary about dyeing the snow yellow. He he…

That haircut has made him look like a new man! I love it! I bet he is happy that he looks so dapper as well!

    32. 02/01/2012 at 10:12 am

Didn’t you do a post like this a short while ago?? LOL

not that we can ever get too much of Romeo.

    33. 02/01/2012 at 9:39 am

Wow! He sort of looks like a stuffed animal in his after shot….just so soft and fluffy looking. Like one of those walk along with me little dogs….but better. I wonder what Romeo thinks when he can all of a sudden see things clearly again?!?

    34. 02/01/2012 at 7:10 am

Wow! What a difference! He is such a smart boy now :-)

When I saw the first one I thought- oooh, he is so cute, why did they cut his hair? Then I scrolled down to the next one and saw that- oh! he is SOOOO cute! AND he looks so fluffy and soft! I want him!!!

    36. 02/01/2012 at 3:16 am

      Gorgeous in both.

    37. 02/01/2012 at 1:52 am

He went from shaggy to preppy! It’s a dog makeover!

He is really too freaking cute for words. I’d love a dog just like him.

    38. 01/31/2012 at 10:46 pm

Romeo is definitely “romeo material” How do you keep the girls and the kisses off of him?!?

    39. 01/31/2012 at 10:15 pm

As you know, Romeo is totally adorable!

    40. 01/31/2012 at 9:53 pm

      That is a handsom dog!

    41. 01/31/2012 at 9:48 pm

Wow. Just wow. Cute overload here.

    42. 01/31/2012 at 9:28 pm

I think he looks older too. Weird! Well, I guess he will be oscillating between these two looks for the rest of his life now!

    43. 01/31/2012 at 9:17 pm

Okay, I was going to say, “Romeo, Romeo, where art thou”…you get the idea.

He is so cute, he doesn’t look real!

    44. 01/31/2012 at 9:03 pm

      He is way too cute!!

    45. 01/31/2012 at 8:53 pm

I love his fluffy paws. I might have to post pics of my pups since I don’t have any books to review. but then, I have a prom post to do, too…

    46. 01/31/2012 at 8:47 pm

He looks very dapper with his new haircut!

    47. 01/31/2012 at 8:20 pm

Wow, he looks totally different! And yes, I too got taken in by the title!

    48. 01/31/2012 at 8:10 pm

wow, he does looks like another dog!

    49. 01/31/2012 at 8:06 pm

He looks grown-up. Cute though. Did you do the job.

    50. 01/31/2012 at 8:05 pm

      Well hello there handsome. =)

    51. 01/31/2012 at 8:04 pm

      He’s dog-show quality now! Handsome:)

    52. 01/31/2012 at 7:58 pm

I wouldn’t have thought he could be cuter either, but he is! And you totally took me in with the post title. :)

    53. 01/31/2012 at 7:56 pm

He looks like a million! He’s cute, that’s for sure.
