Slow starts can add up to strong finishes!
Let’s hope! It NEVER takes me so long to read a book so I’m in shock. I think I got distracted by the holidays and lost my reading mojo.
I am already 6 behind in my reviews!
Wow … you caught my disease. The power of not reading fast and being all caught up is now I’ll be able to keep up with my reviews. (Of course, I said that last year too.)
What! I have read more books this month that the great Jenners! I might just die of shock! I have read one
You got me! I’m off to a very slow start.
I do love a short blog post. I have read one book so far and it was a 5 star and I am just so happy that I am resting a bit and enjoying it still. But I have 3 books underway fighting for my attention.
This is as short as they get … for now. I’m off to a really slow start reading-wise. And you read one book and it was 5 stars? Off to a great reading year!!
I think I love you…(also a song I loved by the Partridge Family
) Someone who is honest and who is not beating the patootie out of me by reading me into the ground. You are awesome!! (And Honest!) I knew I wanted to be you….
I will try the “Gaye will read her book group books” challenge, the “Gaye will read from her own bookshelves” challenge and the “Gaye will read what she wants” challenge this year. I will truly enjoy reading about yours and they will motivate me to read more and more purposefully. Have fun and keep me on my toes, lady.
Happy Sunday!
Eventually, I will get something up on this post … but it is taking me FOREVER to finish my first book of the year!! I like your idea of challenges!
Hurrah, at last a blog where I’m able to sign in as Petty Witter … I don’t know how or why but my blog has changed to google+, my blog profile has disappeared and I’m unable to sign in as Petty Witter which is causing some confusion on just about every other blog I’ve visited.
Anyway, looking forward to hear about all of your 2013 reads.
I’m glad you can keep your identity here … and I hope you get it back elsewhere!
Ha ha! So, what is on your list for this year.
Oh, and have you read Hilary Mantel? You MUST!
I think I do have to try Ms. Mantel. I mean … double Booker awards???!!!
What am I missing?
Well, I haven’t read any books yet so you’re missing the list that will eventually go there! ; )
